POWER
As winners of the Bench 2019 Women of Colour Commission, Alleyne Dance created the distinctive outdoor performance work POWER to tour nationally and internationally as part of 2Faced Dance Company’s 20th-anniversary celebrations.
POWER explores our relationship with authority and control. With abuses of power and domination affecting communities across the world, we look at how power can seduce, shift and shape our behaviour.
Performed by three explosive dancers we ask the questions: Who leads? Who follows? Who holds the power?
