Anneli Binder is co-managing director and artistic director of Dampfzentrale Bern - a theatre in Switzerland for Dance, Performing Arts and Music - with more than a decade of experience in international contemporary dance. She holds two Master’s Degrees, one from the University of Kent in Contemporary Dance. Anneli has been part of juries and selecting committees within the field of national and international contemporary dance.

Having been a dancer herself she holds the artfrom very dear to her heart. Anneli used to dance for Richard Alston Dance Company and, amongst others, worked with Mark Baldwin, Irina Pauls, Yorke Dance Project, Van Huynh Company und Wayne McGregor (Dance Lines).

Anneli curates an international dance festival and a programme that includes performance art as well as readings, panel discussion and forums. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, Gyro Tonic and her chosen family.
