Close To Home

Initially created for Lewisham’s year as the London Borough of Culture in 2023, Close to Home is Alleyne Dance’s participation led large-scale performance work which draws on the themes of it’s sister production for a professional cast, Far From Home.

Created alongside the local community, Close to Home features an intergenerational cast of local performers exploring the stories of their home. Highlighting themes of change and activism, this exciting dance work celebrates the positive impact of migration on our communities and our homes.
